About Lightning Spear
uses battery charge to cause a lightning effect upon hit that damages nearby enemies, even if the attack strikes a surface or object. It can still be used if it runs out of charge but will not cause the lightning effect.
Choosing between weapons: match the damage type to enemy weaknesses — check the enemies database for what each creature resists. Armor matters too, see the armor database for set bonuses.
